Members Layouts - quick summary

See Detail page for individual layouts

Wiltshire group members are highly active on the exhibition
circuit. We don’t have a single group layout, but instead several members
operate one or more layouts at shows. We probably reached our peak at Narrow
Gauge South in 2016 when group members provided five layouts for the show,
enough to have had our own room at the venue. We could probably top that at our
own Pewsey event, except that there would be no one left to guard the lardy
cake.

We’ve also had our share of success, picking up several
awards for layouts over the years. Most notably perhaps is at Expo Narrow
Gauge, where group members have four times won the Reinier Hendriksen Trophy
and twice the David Lloyd Trophy, effectively for the ‘best in show’.
